Senior Associate: Journalism and Media Training & Strategies

Anita Rice is a journalist, editor and media trainer who has held a range of senior editorial positions with international broadcasters and various newspapers, including the BBC, Al Jazeera English and the Law Gazette.

She is currently based in Belgium, and is a freelance writer and editor for a range of outlets, including Balkan Insight and the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network.

During her time with the BBC, Anita held positions with BBC News and Current Affairs as a senior journalist / producer.

She worked on a variety of programmes including Newsnight, This World (LAPD), Arafat Investigated, Ethiopia: A Journey with Michael Buerk), IF… series, Panorama, True Spies, The Day Britain Stopped, Kenyon Confronts, What the World Thinks of America, NHS Day, Question Time, Monarchy and other special event days including the 9/11 first anniversary special.

After ten years with the BBC, Anita moved to the Law Society Gazette as news editor and reporter before moving to Qatar, where she was writer and features/planning editor for the Al Jazeera English website.
